Masons beach (4 km)

Bachman Beach (12 km)
Quiet, all sand beach, great for digging swimming and sun tanning. It is a beautiful drive along the water of the Second Peninsula. The beach is about 300 meters long with sand dunes covered in grass and only about 20 meters from the parking area. Easy to launch a canoe or kayak. We like snorkeling here in the nice clear water. Sand dollar beach (14 km)
Sand Dollar Beach in Rose Bay offers a spectacular opportunity for strolling along the shoreline and collecting sand dollars and other sea treasures. More>
Kingsburg beach (18 km)
Kingsburg Pond is one of the few cases in the province where a saltwater pond completely converted to freshwater, and the is also the site of a series of inter-dunal swales. More>
Hirtle’s beach (20 km)
A nature enthusiast’s paradise. Categorized as a living beach because the beach moves and shifts at the whim of the ocean. Hirtle’s Beach is ever changing. Here you will find more than three kilometers of white sand, rolling surf, fresh sea air, drumlin cliffs and breathtaking views. More>
Rissers beach (42 km)
Whether you want to swim, search for sea shells, or just spend the day relaxing in the sun, Rissers Beach Provincial Park offers every kind of recreational opportunity available at the seaside.
Some of the features of the park include a kilometre long white sand beach and Interpretation Centre and boardwalk along an inland marsh. More>
Carters beach (90 km)
Carters Beach is simply one of the most beautiful beaches in Nova Scotia. It is essentially three beaches in one, with three crescent areas one after another. All three are made up of soft white sand. The kids love walking the beach in search of sand dollars as much as they enjoy playing in the water. It’s a great stop on a way back if you decide to go for a day trip from Lunenburg and visit Kejimkujik Seaside. More>
